1. Introduction

Dr. ZHAOGUO CHEN, born in April 1970 in Yuhuan County, Zhejiang Province, P. R. China. He is a Professor, PI of SHVRI, CAAS, and the chief expert of Research Team of Animal Derived Food Safety. He is also the deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Animal Parasitology of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Laboratory of Quality and Safety Risk Assessment for Animal Products on Biohazards (Shanghai) of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. His work mainly focus on the biology, invasion, pathogenic, and immune mechanisms of food-borne parasites including  Cryptosporidium  spp.,  Toxoplasma gondii ,  E  chinococcus  spp.,  Enterocytozoon , etc., prevention and control technologies of zoonotic parasitic diseases, and monitoring and risk assessment of animal derived food safety.
