1. Introduction

LI Beibei, Ph.D., Professor, doctoral supervisor, part-time doctoral supervisor at Xinjiang Agricultural University. He is a Shanghai Young Science and Technology Rising Star and a member of the Youth Talent Development Program in the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He has long been engaged in research on the epidemiology of animal-origin bacterial antimicrobial resistance, identification new resistant genes, molecular mechanisms of transmission of important resistant genes, and development of rapid detection technologies of bacterial pathogens and antimicrobial resistance. He has been the principal investigator for 7 national and provincial-level projects and has supervised the training of 1 doctoral student and 6 master’s students. He has published over 30 papers in international journals, including “Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy” “Plos Pathogens” and “Veterinary Microbiology”. He has also published one monograph and obtained 4 patents.
