1. Introduction

Jianchao Wei is a professor and a doctoral mentor in Preventive Veterinary Medicine, and received Ph.D. from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2010, and is currently the deputy director of the Achievement Transformation Department (Material Procurement Platform Management Department).

He is currently on the editorial board of Frontiers in Microbiology, Viruses.. He is also the master mentor of Yangtze University, the deputy director of Branch of Veterinary Public Health, Chinese Veterinary Medical Association,the council member of Shanghai Veterinary Immunology Association.He has been long engaged in the development of innovative vaccines and detection technology for animal arboviruses,including Japanese Encephalitis Virus,and African Swine Fever Virus.Research on the pathogenic mechanisms, evolutionary rules, and interaction between viral proteins and host cellular proteins.He has presided over and participated in 20 projects including National Natural Science Foundation, key research and development program, etc. He has trained 7 masters. He has published 90 high-quality papers including 80 SCI, and 3 textbooks and works, and 15 authorized patents.
