Research Fields: Phylogenetic evolution and bioinformatic analysis of foodborne pathogens

1. Introduction

Yan Zhang , Xuhui District in Shanghai, PhD, master supervisor, associate researcher.

We conducted the studies of phylogenetic evolutionary and bioinformatic analysis of foodborne pathogens, and established a Risk Warning Database of  Enterocytozoon bieneusi , as well as the platform of genomic and phylogenetic analysis of various pathogens. Yan held three projects: National Nature Science Foundation of China (32100368), The National Postdoctoral International Exchange Program-Incoming Program (YJ20200204) and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation 69th General Project (2021M693455). Additionally, Yan has published 18 papers (14 SCI papers and three Chinese papers) in Advances in Parasitology, Frontiers in Microbiology, BMC Microbiology and vaccines etc. and one English book (2nd author).
