1. Introduction

Dr. Liu’s research interests focus on diseases such as Nipah virus infection, African swine fever, and giardiasis. She conducts research on disease risk assessment, the development of monitoring and detection techniques, and the development of disease prevention and control products. She also works on host-pathogen interactions, focusing specifically on proteases mediated host-pathogen interactions. She has received three national and two provincial projects and has published over 30 papers in journals including iScience, Virulence, and JIA.
