On July 24-26, SHVRI held 2024 Outstanding College Students Summer Camp. This event attracted more than 80 outstanding college students from 36 universities across the nation to register, and 17 of them were selected for participate.

At the opening ceremony, Jiang Yifeng, Director of Scientific Research Management and International Coorperation, delivered a welcome speech, and introduced the development history, mentor team, technology platform, and research strength of SHVRI, allowing all students to have an in-depth view of SHVRI. Porf. Liu Guangqing and Qiu Yafeng gave academic presentations seperately.

During the summer camp, all campers took a visit to the Specimen Museum, Central Laboratory of Instrument Service, Veterinary Drug Evaluation Center, and team laboratories of SHVRI one by one. Besides the visit, a face to face discussions and communication with representatives of the recommended students have also arranged, all campers said they had a vivid view of the future image of the study, research and lives here.

Through out this summer camp, we have fully showcased the strength of SHVRI, stimulated the strong interest of all campers in study veterinary science, promoted communication and exchange among students, and laid a good foundation for attracting more outstanding students to join in.

Next, we will continuously optimize the talent selection and evaluation system, and further promote the quantity and quality of graduate enrollment.
