Introduction

The Laboratory of Biological Hazard Factor Risk Assessment of Animal Product Quality Safety (Shanghai) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was established in 2014, with the purpose of "improving the quality and safety level of animal products and protecting human health", focusing on international and domestic concerns and potential animal-derived zoonotic pathogens, toxins and drug residues as the key research objects, focusing on animal food safety monitoring and control technologies and methods, Food biosafety assessment, carry out theoretical basis and product application research, lead the frontier of food biosecurity, and provide technical support for government decision-making. Create a high-quality research team that combines production, education and research, covers a wide range and is highly skilled, and takes Shanghai as the center to form a food safety risk assessment and science popularization base that radiates internationally and domestically. The laboratory has more than 50 members, including 8 senior professional titles, undertaking more than 60 international and domestic projects, winning 7 awards such as Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, formulating 4 national standards and industry standards, obtaining 11 authorized patents, publishing more than 100 SCI papers, participating in the compilation of more than 10 monographs, and training more than 60 master's and doctoral students.
