The Key Laboratory of Animal Parasitology of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is based on the needs of national agricultural science and technology, aiming at the frontier of technological development in the field of animal parasitic disease control. In view of the key technical problems restricting the prevention and control of livestock and poultry parasitic diseases and zoonotic parasitic diseases in China, we focus on breaking through a number of cutting-edge and key technologies, continuously improve the scientific and technological level of animal parasitic disease prevention and control, and provide strong technical support for the healthy development of China's animal husbandry and human health. Create a backbone team of animal parasitology research in China, and form a research center of animal parasitology and international exchange and cooperation center in China. At present, the key laboratory has 22 fixed senior professional titles, has won 2 national achievement awards and 20 provincial and ministerial achievement awards, undertaken more than 100 domestic and foreign scientific research projects, obtained more than 40 invention patents, formulated 4 national standards, published 10 monographs, published more than 50 high-level papers, and trained more than 100 graduate students.
