一、Introduction

Prof. Zhiyong Ma, Ph.D., doctoral supervisor, and the Chief Scientist of Risk Warning and Blocking Techniques for Swine Infectious Diseases Team. Prof. Ma is currently the Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Chairman of the Shanghai Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine.

Engaged in long-term research on zoonotic diseases such as Japanese encephalitis and porcine respiratory infectious diseases, exploring the innate antiviral response mechanism and virus escape mechanism of hosts, searching for target molecules for antiviral drug design, and developing new diagnostic technologies and vaccines. Hosted over 20 national and provincial level projects. Published over 150 papers in domestic and foreign journals such as PLoS Pathgenes, Journal of Virology, and Journal of Biological Chemistry, including over 100 SCI papers and over 16 patents.
